Our mission:
~In a nutshell, we aim to:
- Promote the Paso Fino breed for pleasurable
riding
- Educate folks on what a well-trained Paso Fino
really is
- Help riders become whatever level they want to
be to have a truly safe and fun experience with their Paso
- Provide owners with honest sources and honest
horses
- Help reduce equine over population by
utilizing existing animals and promoting targeted breeding plans to eliminate
indiscriminate breeding
We've heard it time and time again:
- "I thought I was getting a ____
(level-headed, experienced, laid-back, easy-going, etc.) horse."
- "I just wanted to be able to trail ride ___
(with a group, on groomed trails, out my back yard, on BLM, on our ranch, by
myself).
- "I thought this was a really nice ___ (mare,
gelding) and when I rode him before I bought him it went fine."
- "The seller said he'd been on miles and miles
of trails in the mountains with this horse and I had a great first ride at the
owner's place. Plunked down the bucks . . . hmmm . . . doesn't load in
the trailer very well . . . "
And . . .
- "Paso Finos are just too hot blooded for me."
- "I've seen those horses on RFD.
All they can do is just rat-a-tat-tat in a straight line. They're
beautiful to watch, but not the horse for me."
- "They are so tiny and delicate, I'm too big."
And . . .
- "I just want to trail ride. I don't need
a really well-trained horse."
- "My horse (or I) don't need to know how to
side pass, or back an L or any of that fancy stuff. I just want to have
a safe, quiet ride with my friends."
So . . .
Why do I know these things? . . . I've been
there, done that and said that . . .
And now, thanks to great trainers and true
friends . . . I have Tucker (and just a few other Paso Finos)!
